The KE-7A model was a military M4 camera made in Canada for the United states government.

This camera had particular characteristics which made it resistant to low temperature, dust and mud.

Two types of KE-7A's are found: the KE-7A military units carrying FSN (federal stock Number) CONT. (Contract designation) and U.S (United States) On the back of the cover along with the serial-number were engraved the federal stock number, the order number and the initial U.S. And the KE-7A Civilian units without these markings.(with only the serial number engraved)

The civilian KE-7A represent a production overrun LESS THAN 60 OF THESE REACHED THE MARKET !
